WELCOME TO PTO AT LAMAR!

Welcome all new and returning PTO parents!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Summer! It is time to get back to our school pride.  My name is Ric Rivera and I am very excited to be your new PTO President for the 2011-2012 school year.  I would like to thank all of the parents that entered their email addresses.  This will help keep our communications open to everyone.

This school year we would like to welcome our new Vice Principal, Mr. Travis Waddell.  If you get a chance, please give him a Bear Cat Welcome!  Over the summer we had a very generous donation of a table and chairs for our school.  We have place the items in Room 104 to be used for teacher/parent conference and PTO meetings.

I know everyone has a busy schedule but if you could find some time to help a little, it would be greatly appreciated from our PTO members and teachers.  I know we can make a difference for our kids and teachers.

Our meetings will be scheduled on the second Tuesday of each month, along with a few evening meetings as needed.  I know not all parents are able to attend the meetings, but your time and donated items for our events/fundraisers are very beneficial to a successful PTO.

I look forward to a GREAT YEAR!  LET'S GO BEAR CATS!!!
